Articles: a, an
The words a and an are special adjectives called articles.
Use a before a word that begins with a consonant sound.
→Last night I read a story.
Use an before vowel sounds.
→The story was about an elephant.
Use an only if the next word begins with a vowel sound.
→The elephant saw a mouse. m is vowel.
→The mouse looked up and saw an elephant. e is consonant.
